The Turning Point sculpture is a large scale steel sculpture that honors cancer survivors and their families.  The sculpture takes the form of a tree, symbolizing growth, resilience, and the strength it takes to overcome cancer.  The tree structure is based on fractal geometry - its branches divide and subdivide.  When sunlight filters through the canopy of color discs, patterns of shape and color will create Nature's own kaleidoscope which will mark the passage of time and change of seasons.   The Turning Point is about the immutable moments in our lives.
