NEW WORKS ON PAPER
"The Hidden Map" series are intimate, small scale works on paper. Through mixed media, I explore the intersecting rhythms of city grids, forest paths, and the layered directionality of cardinal coordinates. In each painting, every line, mark and layer is a meditation on boundaries, pathways, and the spaces they shape.
There are two sizes.
12 x 12 inches / 30 x 30 cm
8 x 8 inches/ 20.3 x 20.3 cm
TURNING POINT SCULPTURE
CANCER SURVIVORS PARK
A turning point is a moment of profound change. To "visually" represent such a turning point is not easy. I designed the sculptural tree to represent the complexity and cyclicality of the natural world. A close inspection of a tree reveals intricate patterns, structure, and underlying order. The Turning Point is more than a sulpture; it is a symbol of hope and resilience. I hope that it serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always a chance of renewal and growth....
PUBLIC ART PROJECTS
It starts with a spark—an idea I sketch and develop, considering how it will shape the space and resonate with the community. As I move from concept to design, I collaborate with structural engineers and architects to ensure the piece is both visually impactful and structurally sound, solving practical issues like scale, weight and durability. Then come meetings with city officials, stakeholders, and community members, where I listen, compromise, and adapt my vision to meet diverse needs. The process can take years, marked by moments of doubt and discovery. But when the sculpture is finally installed, I see it as a collective creation belonging to everyone who helped shape it.
